The Clyde Dive Trip 2002.

Near the end of March we went to the Clyde and enjoyed good weather. We had originally booked The Flying Eagle but due to last minute engine problems they had to cancel. Good enough they helped with booking an alternative dive operator. The accommodation at the Carlton Guest House was good and I think another trip will be organised with the flying eagle next year.

The diving was good although the visibility on the Akka was poor which is no consolation even when it is expected. Some of the party had not done the Akka so it was a must this time. The dive on the Wallaccia was well worth it and should be done again. The only gripe was the skipper missed the wreck and ruined the second day for some.

The curry house in the town can be recommended as the food was excellent and the portions large, the naan bread is big enough for four people.
