Seahouses. Farne Isles 02.

The waves and wildlife.

This September came and again we were fortunate enough to have three days excellent weather whilst diving the Farne Isles. As last year we chartered Sovereign Diving and Ian served us well. The wreck sites included the Somali and the Acclivity. Although the Acclivity was like a dive in Liverpool Bay it was well worth doing.

The Somali is always a good dive and there was excellent visibility on her. The other wreck sites were well broken up but clear, bright and full of life. These may not have been off the beaten track but no one uttered a word of complaint about them. We finished off the trip with a really enjoyable dive with the seals around one of the islands.

It will be hard to beat these trips next year but there are already trips planned to Ireland and Weymouth with others being considered.
